Dear ______,
Most of us tend to concentrate on the material here and now versus our spiritual
natures.
It has been established that the universe is expanding. In this light, we must expand
the view of ourselves – our inner selves. Our world of materiality changes but spiritual
reality does not. It is changeless. As our understanding of spirit grows, spiritual
values remain unchanged. It is we who change. The part of us that is indestructible is
our inner spiritual self - that which we take with us to the next plane of existence.
The Son of God did not have to come to this planet to die for our sins since He is
infinite in nature and cannot die. He came as a wayshower by working as a carpenter,
a boat builder and a fisherman. His real role was as a fisher-of-men. He showed us
how to live. He worked, He prayed, He sought to teach us to look to our spiritual
natures and He showed us that there is life after leaving the material body. Did He not
come from the spiritual world to lead us to His Father?
We humans cannot see the other side but we can intuit it. We know spiritual values
exist and our consciences lead us to this conclusion.
Jesus, in His final appearances to the Disciples, gave us glimpses of our progression
after our crosses to bear are behind us. When He appeared before the Disciples
three times, each time he was less recognizable than before. That is because the
spiritual bodies He appeared in were only made barely visible to the Disciples. We
cast away our human bodies for the more spiritual ones as He, the Wayshower, did.
I was an instructor pilot in the Air Force and the attrition rate, as they called it, was
higher than combat. Even though we instructors almost met our maker on a weekly
basis, we became attuned to the prospect of translating. I have faced that which you
are confronted with now. We are all going to traverse that final earthly path and it
must be a part of a larger plan. Jesus did not come here to waste His time. He told us,
“Follow me.” Obviously, to obey Him, we translate to a higher plane outside the
purview of gross materiality as we follow Him toward Paradise.
Blessings to you,
